After

Sure-Dry carefully opened the necessary sections of the finished walls to gain access to the foundation and installed two different structural repair systems based on the needs of the affected walls.

The GeoLock® Wall Anchor System was installed in areas where exterior access allowed anchors to be placed in stable soil away from the foundation. Steel rods connect those anchors to plates on the interior of the wall, providing permanent stabilization and the potential for future tightening to help improve the wall's position.

In other areas, Sure-Dry installed PowerBrace™ foundation wall supports. These engineered steel beams stabilize the foundation from inside the basement and are particularly useful where exterior excavation or anchor placement isn't practical.

Plover-area soils experience significant moisture changes along with Wisconsin's repeated freeze-thaw cycles. As soil becomes saturated, freezes, expands, and changes throughout the seasons, pressure against foundation walls can contribute to inward movement and cracking.
