Guaranteeing No Flooding in Nekoosa, WI

Discharge pipes laying around your lawn can look messy and result in a tripping hazard. However, underground discharge pipes aren't any better because they can freeze during winter and can back up water in your sump pump and cause flooding. This was the problem for these homeowners in Nekoosa, WI. Every winter their pipes would freeze and water would back up into their basement.
Immediately our team knew just what to do to put these homeowners at ease. We installed our Iceguard System, this is attached right to the house where the discharge pipes come out. Located at the top of the IceGuard are small slits to release water out if your pipes are frozen, letting the homeowners know their pipes need to be thawed out.

Our crew mapped low areas at the garage apron and along the front walk, marked lift points, and drilled small injection ports. Using PolyLevel®, we stabilized the soils and raised each panel with precision—verifying with a laser and straightedge to remove lips, align the garage slab to the door seal, and re-establish proper drainage. Once the lift was complete, we patched the ports to blend with the surface. The homeowner regained a smooth, solid approach without the mess, cost, or downtime of replacement.
Inspection showed active perimeter seepage and damp lower walls, plus finished areas and mechanicals that made standard trenching impractical in places. To manage water at every edge, we paired WaterGuard® (cut neatly into the slab along open runs) with DryTrak® (bonded to the floor surface where we couldn’t trench). We opened block weep holes where appropriate so wall moisture drops directly into the drains instead of onto the floor. At the low point, we set the UltraSump® pump system to provide everyday capacity, high-flow backup, and battery-powered operation during outages—finished with a sealed lid and alarm for a tidy, safe basin. With both drainage styles working together and redundant pumping in place, the space now remains dry, fresher, and ready for storage or projects.
During inspection we mapped the deflection, documented the horizontal crack, and confirmed lateral pressure as the primary driver. Our crew mechanically prepped the poured surface (grinding to clean, sound concrete), laid out strap positions, and saturated each CarbonArmor® strap with structural epoxy before bonding it to the wall. At the top we installed ArmorLock™ anchors to tie the reinforcement into the floor system for added resistance. After cure, the straps form a thin, unobtrusive reinforcement that doesn’t encroach on the room and can be finished over.
With the carbon fiber reinforcement in place, the homeowner gained reliable stabilization without excavation, heavy equipment, or major disruption—delivering long-term protection and a clean interior look.
Homeowners in Nekoosa, WI needed a quick and affordable solution to the slight bend in their foundation walls.
Our team was able to complete the perfect solution for them by installing CarbonArmor. These strips are a quick and easy process. However, they will not restore the wall to its correct location but it will stop it from any further movements. They also do not protrude from the walls, therefore, they can easily be covered with paint or panels.
Now that these homeowners were able to receive a quick and affordable solution, they are at peace of mind!
