Cracking, Bowing Foundation Walls Stabilized and Repaired in Marathon, WI

Before:
A homeowner in Marathon had failing basement walls with stair-step cracking, a widening horizontal crack, and inward bowing after heavy rains. Landscaping and a driveway limited exterior access on one side, making a mixed repair approach necessary.
After:
We installed GeoLock® wall anchors on the accessible wall runs—tying interior wall plates to galvanized earth anchors set in stable soils beyond the backfill—and used PowerBrace™ steel I-beams on the tight-access wall to provide interior stabilization with the option for future tightening.
The foundation is now stabilized against further movement, and the homeowner has a clean, serviceable system designed for gradual improvement over time.
Concrete Driveway Settling Repaired & Sealed In Marathon, WI

Before:
A homeowner in Marathon had settled driveway panels with toe-stubbing lips and widening joints. Water slipped through the gaps and pooled near the garage, and winter freeze–thaw made the cracking worse.
After:
We injected PolyLevel® beneath the settled slabs to fill voids and lift the driveway back to a smooth, properly pitched surface. We then sealed control and expansion joints with NexusPro®, installing backer where needed and finishing with color-match sand for a clean look.
The driveway is now level, safer to use, and better protected against water intrusion and seasonal movement.
Wet Basement Issues Resolved with Upgraded Drainage & Sump Pump Systems in Marathon, Wi

Before:
A homeowner in Marathon was seeing water along the wall–floor (cove) joint after storms. Musty odors lingered, the old pump felt unreliable during power flickers, and the above-grade discharge line risked freezing and backing water into the basement.
After:
We installed WaterGuard® interior perimeter drainage to capture seepage at the cove joint and route it to a new UltraSump® system with a sealed lid, alarm, and battery backup for outages. Outside, we added IceGuard® freeze-protection fittings and trenched a buried discharge line to carry water safely away from the foundation with a clean, low-profile finish.
Now the basement stays dry and usable year-round with dependable pumping and freeze-resistant discharge.

During inspection, we mapped elevation changes across the driveway, front walk, and rear patio, noting areas of settlement concentrated near drainage lines and downspout discharge. After confirming that base soils were stable for injection, we established lift points for controlled, incremental raising. Using small ⅜-inch injection ports, PolyLevel® polyurethane foam was introduced beneath each slab, expanding to fill voids and lift the concrete back to proper height.
With surface alignment restored, the team cleaned and prepared all joints before applying NexusPro® sealant to prevent moisture penetration and freeze–thaw expansion. The combination of PolyLevel lifting and NexusPro sealing provided a permanent, low-disruption solution—reestablishing uniform grade and preventing water-related deterioration across all exterior concrete areas.

During inspection we documented elevated RH and air movement from the crawl space into the living areas. Our crew prepped the substrate, laid and mechanically fastened CleanSpace® to separate the home from ground moisture, and wrapped supports for a continuous seal. We then fitted SilverGlo® on the crawl space walls, fastening and sealing seams to boost R-value and stabilize temperature. With moisture blocked and insulation in place, the first-floor rooms feel warmer and the air smells fresher—delivering long-term protection without altering the living space above.

Inspection showed active perimeter seepage and an exposed discharge vulnerable to ice. Our crew cut a neat perimeter channel and placed WaterGuard® flush with the slab to intercept groundwater before it reached the floor surface. We set the UltraSump® basin at the low point, plumbed in a check valve, and commissioned the primary pump, high-capacity secondary, and battery-backup pump under a sealed lid with an audible alarm.
Outside, we cored for the discharge, installed IceGuard® to relieve pressure if the line ices over, and ran a buried discharge with proper pitch to a lawn outlet away from the home. After concrete restoration and a full flow test, the system moved water quietly and efficiently—delivering a dry, cleaner basement and peace of mind through storms and Wisconsin winters.

Our crew mapped low spots, marked lift points, and drilled small (penny-size) injection ports. We placed PolyLevel® in controlled lifts, monitoring with a laser and straightedge to remove lips at panel joints and restore drainage away from the garage. After lift, we cleaned the joints, set backer rod as needed, and applied NexusPro®—a flexible, UV-resistant sealant that helps keep moisture and de-icing salts out of the base soils while maintaining a neat finish. By the end of the visit, transitions were smooth and the driveway looked uniform—delivering improved safety, curb appeal, and long-term durability without the mess and downtime of replacement.

During inspection we mapped deflection, documented the cracking pattern, and performed utility locates. Because exterior access was clear along two wall spans, we chose GeoLock® there: small, tidy exterior pits were excavated, anchors were set beyond active backfill, and interior wall plates were tensioned to deliver immediate lateral support with the ability to incrementally tighten at service visits. The driveway side offered no dig space, so we set PowerBrace™ beams against the poured/block surface, anchored them at the slab, and fastened adjustable top brackets to the floor system—creating a robust interior-only solution.
With anchors and braces working where each is strongest, the walls are secure today and have a planned path toward straighter alignment—delivering long-term confidence without major exterior excavation.
