I am a first-time homebuyer looking at this house listed above. There is occasional seepage in the basement of which was apparent when I viewed the house for the first time. It is a stone basement built in 1908 with a cement floor. Due to the recent rain, this was noticeable that repairs would be needed to get this issue addressed. Basement floor is below the water table, so i am always running a pump. also I have lots of rust in the water, it builds up into a slimy sludge and plugs up the draintile pipe. I have recently dug out the entire interior perimeter of basement and laid new tile with stone. in about 6 months the tile is already plugging up.
