At NWTC's Niagara campus, a small but essential concrete pad supporting a commercial AC compressor unit had begun to settle and tilt unevenly. Over time, shifting soils beneath the slab caused it to sink by several inches—putting strain on the compressor lines and creating long-term risk for the system’s performance and longevity.
