Egress Windows Before & After Photos

Before

A homeowner in Mosinee, WI wanted to make their basement safer and more functional by adding an egress window. The existing basement space lacked a large emergency exit and had limited natural light, making an egress window a valuable upgrade for the lower level.

After

Sure-Dry excavated alongside the foundation, created the new foundation opening, and installed a complete egress window and window well system. The new window provides a safe emergency exit while bringing significantly more natural light and fresh air into the basement. Proper drainage around the window well also helps manage water and protect the opening from moisture issues.

Before:
A homeowner in Stevens Point, WI, wanted to transform their basement into a livable space but was limited by small, noncompliant windows that didn’t meet egress safety standards. The lack of proper light and ventilation made the basement feel dark and closed-in, and there was no accessible emergency exit. The homeowner sought a reliable solution that would enhance safety while making the space brighter and more functional.

After:
Sure-Dry’s crew installed a new egress window system, complete with a sturdy window well, clear cover, and proper drainage to prevent water buildup. The larger window not only met local safety codes for emergency egress but also dramatically increased natural light and airflow in the basement. The homeowner was delighted with the added light, comfort, and safety — turning their basement into a bright, welcoming extension of their home.
