The homeowner in Shawano, WI had a crawlspace with exposed earth, elevated humidity, and ongoing moisture concerns that were impacting air quality and structural conditions above. Sure-Dry completed a full crawl space encapsulation using CleanSpace® vapor barrier to fully seal the crawlspace floor and walls, preventing ground moisture from entering the space. A SmartSump® crawlspace sump pump system was installed to manage groundwater, while RimTight® insulation sealed the rim joists to reduce air leakage and improve energy efficiency. To control humidity long-term, a Sedona® dehumidifier was installed to maintain consistent, dry conditions year-round.

SilverGlo® insulation was installed to insulate the crawl space walls, improving thermal performance and helping maintain consistent temperatures. To control moisture long-term, a Sedona® dehumidifier was added to regulate humidity and keep the crawlspace dry year-round.
The crawl space is now sealed, insulated, and conditioned, improving comfort, energy efficiency, and overall indoor air quality.

This crawl space in West Bend was suffering from structural and moisture issues, which were causing issues in the home above.
