Basement Waterproofed & Moisture Controlled with Drainage System & Battery Back-up Sump Pump Upgrade In Nekoosa, WI
Before:
A homeowner in Nekoosa was getting seepage at the wall–floor (cove) joint after storms and dampness wicking through the lower walls. Some sections of the basement couldn’t be trenched due to finishes and utilities, and the aging pump left them uneasy during power flickers.
After:
We installed WaterGuard® interior perimeter drainage where trenching was feasible to intercept groundwater at the cove joint, and used DryTrak® low-profile baseboard drainage along finished/utility walls where we couldn’t cut the slab. Both drains were tied into a new UltraSump® system with a sealed lid, alarm, and battery backup for dependable pumping through outages.
Now the basement stays clean, dry, and usable year-round—with reliable protection in heavy rains and power interruptions.
Concrete Sidewalk and Garage Apron Repair in Nekoosa, WI
Before:
A homeowner in Nekoosa had settlement along the walkway to the front door and at the garage threshold. Toe-stubbing lips formed at panel joints, step heights were uneven at the entry, and the slab in front of the garage dropped enough to leave a gap at the door seal—letting water and road salt creep under the concrete.
After:
We injected PolyLevel® beneath the settled walkway panels and the slab in front of the garage, filling voids and lifting in controlled increments to restore smooth transitions, uniform step heights, and a tight seal at the garage door. Small (penny-size) injection ports were patched for a clean finish.
The approach is now level, safer to use, and pitched to move water away from the home.
Concrete Driveway Lifted, Leveled, and Sealed in Nekoosa, WI
Before
A homeowner in Nekoosa, WI contacted Sure-Dry after noticing their driveway and walkway had begun to settle unevenly. The concrete slabs had shifted, creating height differences, cracks, and gaps that posed both safety concerns and reduced curb appeal. With Wisconsin’s freeze-thaw cycles and soil movement, these conditions are common and often lead to the need for concrete lifting and concrete leveling.
Water was also beginning to collect in the low areas and enter the open joints, increasing the risk of further soil erosion beneath the slabs. The homeowner was looking for a trusted concrete lifting company and contractor to restore the surfaces and prevent ongoing damage.
After
Our team used PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam to lift and level the settled driveway and walkway. Through small, strategically drilled holes, the expanding foam was injected beneath the concrete to raise the slabs back into position while stabilizing the underlying soil.
To complete the repair and protect the concrete long-term, we applied NexusPro Concrete Joint Sealant to all joints and cracks. This flexible sealant helps prevent water intrusion, reducing the risk of future washout and movement.
Unlike traditional mudjacking (also known as slab jacking), which uses a heavier material that can add stress to already unstable soils, PolyLevel is lightweight, cures quickly, and provides a more durable solution. Combined with NexusPro, this approach addresses both the structural issue and long-term protection for concrete floor repair and concrete step repair needs.
The driveway and walkway are now level, sealed, and safe for everyday use.
The homeowner can confidently use their outdoor spaces knowing the concrete is stabilized and protected against future conditions.
Cracked Concrete Repair in Nekoosa, WI
Before
The homeowner in Nekoosa, WI had begun noticing settlement throughout their driveway, covered porch, and connecting walkway. Uneven concrete surfaces, widening joints, and developing trip hazards were making it more difficult to safely navigate the areas around the home. Water was also collecting in the low spots, increasing the potential for soil erosion beneath the slabs. Many homeowners facing these issues research concrete lifting solutions and compare them to mudjacking, a traditional slab jacking method that relies on a heavy cement-based mixture to raise settled concrete.
After
Sure-Dry restored the driveway, covered porch, and walkway using PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam. The lightweight foam was injected beneath the affected concrete to fill underlying voids, stabilize the supporting soils, and carefully lift each section back toward its intended elevation. Following the concrete leveling process, NexusPro Concrete Joint Sealant was applied to seal cracks and joints, helping prevent future water intrusion beneath the slabs. Unlike mudjacking, PolyLevel cures quickly, requires smaller injection holes, adds less weight to the underlying soils, and provides a durable solution for homeowners seeking professional concrete lifting and concrete leveling services in Wood County.

WaterGuard Installed in Vesper, WI to Remove Basement Water
After receiving a call from homeowners in Vesper, WI about constant water in their basement. The crew was ready to do some waterproofing.
First, the Sure-Dry team installed the WaterGuard System around their entire basement. The WaterGuard will remove all water that seeps through their concrete walls. It will then collect in the WaterGuard at the bottom of the floor and be carried to the sump pump to be discharged out.
To then remove water in the center of their basement, we installed the TrenchDrain. This will redirect water that has accumulated on their floor and bring it to their sump pump.
After a big waterproofing job in their basement, these homeowners couldn't be happier knowing their belongings downstairs are safe.
