Crawl Space Encapsulation & Waterproofing in Tripoli, WI
Before: A Flooded Crawl Space and an Uncomfortable Home Above
In Tripoli, WI, this homeowner was facing persistent water and humidity issues in their crawl space. During heavy rains, the space would flood—bringing in moisture, mold risk, and musty odors that affected the home above. As an older homeowner, they were no longer able to get down into the crawl space to manage the problem, and it was clear the moisture was taking a toll on both the structure and comfort of the house.
They needed a long-term solution to eliminate water, reduce humidity, and improve the overall energy efficiency of the home—without requiring constant maintenance.
After: A Dry, Sealed, and Energy-Efficient Crawl Space
Sure-Dry installed a complete crawl space waterproofing and insulation system designed to eliminate water intrusion, control humidity, and create a healthier, more stable environment under the home.
What We Installed:
-
A new sump pump system to actively remove water
-
Drainage matting to direct moisture to the sump system
-
CleanSpace® Vapor Barrier to seal out ground moisture and humidity
-
Silverglo™ Insulation along the crawl space walls for added energy efficiency
-
RimTight™ insulation at the rim joists to stop air leaks and moisture infiltration
-
A SaniDry™ Sedona dehumidifier to keep humidity in check year-round
-
New vent covers to fully seal off exterior air and moisture
Now, the crawl space is dry, clean, and fully encapsulated, making the entire home above warmer in winter, cooler in summer, and much more comfortable overall. The homeowner no longer has to worry about water intrusion or crawl space maintenance.
