The stability of any concrete surface is dependent on the soils beneath it. The weight of concrete and what it supports, combined with natural soil erosion, can lead to sunken and uneven concrete surfaces. And that's exactly what happened to the concrete walkway leading to the front step of this home in Green Bay, WI.
Sure-Dry Basement Systems was able to lift and level this concrete walkway using their PolyLevel® system. PolyLevel® is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface.

In Appleton, WI we sealed the joints and cracks in this homeowners driveway and sidewalk to prevent further damage. By sealing off these cracks and joints, it eliminates any chance for water to seep down and wash out the soil below. This keeps the driveways lifespan a lot longer.

The floor of this garage in Dunbar, WI had major cracks due to the movement of the concrete floor from soil erosion and heaving.
To repair the cracks, Sure-Dry Basement Systems applied their NexusPro Solution. NexusPro is a silicone-based sealant for joints and cracks specially formulated to provide long-lasting flexibility and to stand up to harsh weather conditions. Unlike traditional polyurethane sealants, NexusPro resists UV rays, which means it won't crack, bubble or dry out. That means a single application can seal the joints and cracks in your concrete driveway, patio, pool deck or sidewalk for years to come, protecting it from damage caused by soil compaction and washout.
The NexusPro solution is installed by a highly trained crew that specializes in concrete repair and protection. First, the cracks are drilled, smoothed and prepared with non-absorbent backer rod filler. Then, the NexusPro sealant is inserted in the prepared crack or control joint. Finally, the cracks are detailed with a thin layer of native sand, giving the concrete a uniform, finished appearance. And, of course, sealed concrete cracks mean no unsightly weeds growing through.
