Sure-Dry Before & After Photos

Before:
A homeowner in Plover had a settled front covered porch slab. The porch had sunk at the outer edge, creating an uneven step at the entry, a toe-stub lip near the walkway, and small gaps opening along the siding and column bases. During rains, water lingered on the slab and worked into open joints, pushing freeze–thaw damage each season.

After:
We injected PolyLevel® beneath the porch to fill voids and gently lift the slab back to a level, properly pitched position. We then sealed perimeter joints and cracks with NexusPro®, installing backer where needed and finishing with color-match sand for a clean, finished look.

The entry is now level with safer, more uniform step heights, improved drainage off the porch, and sealed joints to help prevent future settlement.

Before:
A homeowner in Plover noticed stair-step cracks spreading through a block basement wall, along with slight inward bowing. Heavy rains and expansive soils made the movement worse, raising concerns about long-term structural safety.

After:
We installed the GeoLock® Wall Anchor System, connecting interior steel wall plates to galvanized earth anchors set in stable soil beyond the backfill. This provided immediate stabilization and allows for periodic tightening to help straighten the wall over time.

The wall is now stabilized against further inward movement, and the homeowner has confidence in the long-term safety of their foundation.

Before:
A homeowner in Plover saw water appearing along the wall–floor (cove) joint after storms. Puddles threatened storage, a musty odor lingered, and there was concern about both power outages and winter freeze-ups blocking the discharge line.

After:
We installed WaterGuard® interior perimeter drainage to intercept seepage and direct it to a TripleSafe® sump pump system for primary, secondary, and battery-backup protection. Outside, we added IceGuard® freeze-protection fittings on the discharge to prevent backups if the line ices up.

Now the basement stays clean, dry, and reliable through heavy rains and freezing Wisconsin winters.

Before:
A homeowner in Plover was dealing with a damp, musty crawl space. Ground moisture and outside air leaks at the rim joists led to elevated humidity, light condensation on wood, and cold floors in winter.

After:
We installed CleanSpace® to encapsulate the crawl space floor and walls (wrapping piers and sealing all seams), added SilverGlo® rigid foam insulation on the walls for thermal performance, and air-sealed rim joists with RimTight™ to block drafts and outside air.

The crawl space is now dry, sealed, and insulated—improving comfort and air quality throughout the home.

Portage County’s clay-rich, moisture-retentive soils were exerting significant lateral pressure, causing inward movement around the entire perimeter of the basement. Symptoms included stepped cracking, widening mortar joints, and walls deflecting inward more noticeably during wet periods—a clear indication of soil expansion and seasonal freeze–thaw stress pushing against the foundation.

After:
Sure-Dry installed GeoLock® Wall Anchors around the entire basement to stabilize each affected wall section. Anchor rods were advanced into undisturbed soils away from the pressure zone, and every anchor was torque-verified to ensure proper soil engagement before final tensioning. This configuration provides full-perimeter stabilization with the ability for gradual corrective tightening over time.
The basement is now structurally secure, protected against continued inward movement, and ready to withstand Central Wisconsin’s seasonal soil cycles.
