Sure-Dry Before & After Photos

Before:
At this home in Wrightstown, WI, the front sidewalk had sunk several inches over time, creating a large step up at the front porch. Not only was it difficult to walk on, but it had become a serious trip hazard for anyone coming to the front door.

Like many concrete surfaces in Wisconsin, shifting soils and years of freeze/thaw cycles had caused the slabs to settle unevenly. Water was also getting underneath the concrete through open joints, continuing to wash out the soil below and making the problem worse.

After:
Instead of tearing out and replacing the sidewalk, our team repaired it using PolyLevel® concrete lifting foam and NexusPro® joint sealant.

We carefully lifted the sunken sidewalk back into position using PolyLevel, a lightweight expanding foam that fills voids beneath the slab and stabilizes the soil underneath. Once everything was level again, we sealed the joints and cracks with NexusPro to help prevent future water intrusion and settlement.

Now the sidewalk is:
✔️Level with the front porch
✔️ Safe and easy to walk on
✔️ Protected from future washout and settling

The homeowner was able to restore the appearance and safety of their front entryway without the mess, cost, or downtime of replacing the concrete.

Before: A homeowner in Wrightstown, WI contacted Sure-Dry after noticing the concrete walkway leading to the front door had become uneven and settled over time. The shifting slabs created tripping hazards near the front entrance and allowed water to collect along portions of the walkway during rain and snowmelt. After: Sure-Dry inspected the walkway leading to the front door and identified several settlement areas beneath the concrete slabs. To restore the surface, the crew installed PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam beneath the settled sections to carefully lift and level the concrete back into position. Unlike traditional mudjacking methods, PolyLevel High-Density Concrete Lifting Foam is lightweight, cures quickly, and helps reduce additional stress on weakened soils beneath the slab. Once the lifting process was completed, the joints and cracks were sealed using NexusPro Concrete Joint Sealant to help prevent future water intrusion and soil washout beneath the walkway.The completed repair restored a safer and more stable walking surface while helping protect the concrete against continued settlement common throughout Wrightstown and Northeast Wisconsin.

Living in their home for more than 50 years, these Pulaski homeowners, find a lot of pride and joy in their home and want to make sure it is in a good, safe living condition. However, a short time ago they started to notice their first floor had areas that were sagging. Getting concrete replaced is a lot of work and frustrating, considering you can't drive on the new concrete for quite some time.
