WaterGuard Water Control Drainage System in Kingsford, MI

Before:
A Kingsford homeowner was dealing with recurring basement water after storms and year-round humidity. Seepage showed up along the wall–floor joint, the existing sump was unreliable during heavy rain, and the damp air left the space musty and uncomfortable.

After:
We installed the WaterGuard® interior drainage system around the leaking walls to intercept seepage and carry it to a new TripleSafe® sump system. TripleSafe provides three layers of protection—primary pump for everyday flow, a high-capacity secondary for peak events, and a battery-backup pump for power outages—sealed under an airtight lid. To control moisture in the air, we added a Sedona dehumidifier, set to maintain healthy relative humidity and piped to drain automatically.

The basement is now dry, clean, and consistently comfortable in every season.

Concrete Sidewalk Leveling & Crack Repair In Kingsford, MI

Before:
The homeowner had settlement in the garage floor (dropped panels at the overhead door and near the man-door) and along the walkway to the front entry. Uneven slabs created trip hazards, water pooled at the garage threshold, and the front stoop transition felt rough and out of pitch.

After:
We injected PolyLevel® beneath the affected garage slabs and the walkway panels to fill voids and lift each section back to proper elevation. Inside the garage, we restored a clean seal at the overhead door, corrected the pitch to shed water, and smoothed the man-door approach. Outside, the walkway panels were brought flush to the stoop for a safe, even step. We then routed, cleaned, and sealed joints and cracks with NexusPro®—including garage control joints and the walkway seams—to block water intrusion and accommodate seasonal movement.

The result is a level, safer garage and a smooth, properly pitched approach to the home without tear-out or replacement.

Waterproofing Walls in Wausaukee, WI

The homeowners of this home in Wausaukee, WI were tired of looking at their ugly, damp block foundation walls in their basement.  On top of something that would give their walls a clean and finished look, they also needed something that would protect the walls and the basement from water intrusion.

To solve the issues these homeowners were having with their basement walls, Sure-Dry Basement Systems installed their BrightWall® Basement Wall Panels.  BrightWall® is a rigid plastic sheeting that's attached to your basement wall by drilled-in plastic fasteners. Its bright white color maximizes the available light in your basement, creating a cheerful, clean-looking space.  BrightWall® is 100% waterproof and washable, and it creates a vapor barrier on your basement walls to block out water vapor and humidity.

Sinking Concrete/Cracked Block Wall Foundation in Wausaukee, WI

This block wall foundation in Wausaukee had considerable cracks and gaps which was causing water and other materials to get inside of the home, and the bigger issue of the home losing stability. After inspecting the home, our team determined the issue was being caused by a 10'x10' cement porch on that side of the home which was cracked approximately 8" on each side and had sunk at least 2". This caused that side of the home to crack and separate the foundation. To fix the issue, PolyLevel® Injection foam was injected beneath the concrete slab to fill in the gaps caused by soil erosion and to raise and stabilize the concrete. After the concrete was raised back to the correct height, and the block was raised back into the correct position, NexusPro® crack sealant was applied to the cracks and gaps to ensure they were sealed. If you are experiencing cracked or sinking sidewalks, an uneven driveway, cracked concrete, sinking stairs or a settling garage floor, contact Sure-Dry to schedule a free, no-obligation estimate!
