Waterproofing & Finishing Restoration for a Previously Finished Basement in Manitowoc

Before: Finished Basement Walls Removed Due to Water Coming in from All Sides

This Manitowoc, WI homeowner had water pouring into their basement from nearly every direction. With a previously finished basement, the damage was even harder to swallow—they had to remove the bottom half of their finished walls due to extensive water intrusion and mold concerns. It wasn’t just about keeping water out; it was about restoring comfort, value, and peace of mind.

After: A Fully Waterproofed & Cleanly Restored Finished Basement

To stop the leaks for good, we installed a WaterGuard® interior drainage system around the perimeter of the basement to catch and redirect water before it could reach the living space. We added a TripleSafe™ Sump Pump System with battery backup for maximum water protection, and installed a Sedona SaniDry™ dehumidifier to keep humidity and mold at bay long-term.

Once dry, we restored the finished walls with EverLast™ Wall Restoration Panels—a mold-resistant, durable solution designed for basements. And to preserve the clean look of the space, we disguised the WaterGuard access ports with faux heat vents. This clever touch allowed the homeowner to reinstall flooring without blocking future access to the system.

Now, the basement is dry, clean, and looks just as good as it functions—ready for family use once again.

Concrete Lifting in Denmark, WI

The stability of any concrete surface is dependent on the soils beneath it. The weight of concrete and what it supports, combined with natural soil erosion, can lead to sunken and uneven concrete surfaces, like this long concrete front porch in Denmark, WI.

Sure-Dry Basement Systems provides expert concrete repair solutions using the PolyLevel® system. PolyLevel® is an expanding polyurethane foam that is injected beneath the concrete to fill the gaps caused by soil erosion and raise and stabilize the concrete surface.

If you have sunken concrete surfaces you need repair, call us today or contact us online to get started with a free estimate!

Home Foundation Repair in Denmark, WI

Before:
A homeowner in Denmark noticed bouncy, uneven floors, small gaps opening at baseboards, and interior doors beginning to stick. In the crawl space, several wood posts were tilting on undersized pads, and some joists showed signs of deflection. The homeowner wanted a permanent, code-compliant fix that wouldn’t require major demolition.

After:
We installed the SmartJack® system to stabilize and lift the floor system. Each steel support was set on an engineered footing designed to distribute loads and resist settlement. After placing new steel support beams where needed, we adjusted the SmartJacks® to bring floors back toward level and eliminate bounce.

The result is a solid, stable first floor and a crawl space with reliable, adjustable structural support for long-term performance.

WaterGuard Basement Drainage System Installed in Denmark, WI

Before:
A Denmark homeowner was dealing with recurring basement water after storms, with seepage appearing along the wall–floor joint. Their existing sump couldn’t keep up during heavy rains, and winter brought a new risk: the exterior discharge line could freeze and back up water into the basement.

After:
We installed the WaterGuard® interior drainage system around the basement perimeter to capture seepage at its point of entry. Collected water now drains to a TripleSafe® sump system that provides three layers of protection—primary pump for everyday flow, a secondary pump for peak demand, and a battery-backup pump for power outages. To prevent winter backups, we added IceGuard® anti-freeze fittings on the exterior discharge.

If the line freezes, IceGuard safely vents water away from the home instead of back into the basement. The result is a dry, reliable basement year-round.

Concrete Driveway Repair in Denmark, WI

Before:
A Denmark homeowner was dealing with sunken, uneven concrete on the driveway and front walk. Slabs had settled, creating trip hazards and water pooling after rain. Cracks and open joints were widening with each freeze–thaw season, making the problem more visible and raising concerns about long-term damage.

After:
We lifted and stabilized the settled slabs with PolyLevel®, a high-density polyurethane foam injected through small ports to fill voids and raise the concrete back to proper elevation. Once level, we sealed cracks and joints with NexusPro®—a flexible, UV-resistant sealant engineered to handle temperature swings and block water intrusion. The surface is now even, safer to walk on, and protected against future seasonal movement.
