Small injection holes were drilled through the concrete, allowing lightweight polyurethane foam to be injected beneath the slabs. As the foam expanded, it filled underlying voids and provided controlled lifting to improve uneven areas and transitions.

Unlike traditional mudjacking, PolyLevel uses a lightweight material that adds significantly less weight to the soils beneath the concrete, requires smaller injection holes and cures quickly.

After the lifting was completed, NexusPro® Joint Sealant was used on the appropriate cracks and joints. Sealing these areas helps limit water intrusion beneath the slabs, where erosion and Wisconsin’s freeze-thaw conditions can contribute to future settlement.

With the garage apron and branching sidewalk lifted, stabilized and sealed, the homeowner now has safer, more even concrete providing access around the home.
