Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Fully Waterproofing and Supporting an Older Basement in Sheboygan Falls, WI
Homeowner Sharlene from Sheboygan Falls, WI gave our SureDry team a call because she was in need of some great waterproofing and foundation wall support. Over the years her basement grew worse and worse and she finally decided to take action. Our System Design Specialist gave a thorough inspection of her property and proposed the exact solution she needed. Sharlene was very relieved to hear the solution we had for. Our installation crew led by Bobby then got right to work. They encapsulated the walls with CleanSpace because over time the paint on the walls began to peel off and was leaving a messy, disoriented look to her basement. Followed by the CleanSpace we then installed 10 PowerBraces along her basement walls. These braces will force the bowed in the wall back to its upright standing position. Lastly, our crew installed the WaterGuard System. This system works extremely well in keeping water out of her basement. We install this just under the floor slab so it is completely out of the way and hidden. When water seeps through the walls or the foundations footing, the WaterGuard collects the water and drains it to the sump pump. After a long day at work, the basement was finally complete, and Sharlene couldn't be happier with the results
Old and Worn Out Basement Walls
From old use, the paint on the block walls had begun to chip off leaving a messy, disturbing look.
Removing the Old Look with CleanSpace
To remove the old look we encapsulated the basement with CleanSpace this gives the walls a bright, clean look.
New Sump Pump New Results
Replacing the old broken sump pump with the SuperSump will keep her basement dry!
From water seeping in from the foundation's footing, it soaked up through the cracks and left residue at the bottom of their basement walls.
WaterGuard Installed for a Dry Basement
The WaterGuard is installed below the floor slab. In this photo you can see the WaterGuard before it is covered with concrete. This will collect water that seeps in from below or above.
