What Has Quarantine Made Us Grateful For? Post #6: Tom Wardlow, Marketing Manager

This is the sixth post of an ongoing series we will continue amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, where members of Team Sure-Dry share what being "quarantined" has made them grateful for...

Post #6: Tom Wardlow, Marketing Manager - Sure-Dry Basement Systems

Quarantine has allowed me to slow down in the morning.  Normally I am up early, workout, shower, feed the dogs and I am out the door just as everyone else is waking up.  For the last two weeks, I've slept in a little bit and started my workout later so I can be downstairs while my son is doing his homework.  In between sets I'll watch him do his schoolwork and help him with any questions he has on his courses (he's so smart that sometimes he just ends up teaching me something!).

About halfway through my workout I will get the coffee going so its ready for my wife, and right around this time my daughter is waking up, so I get her out of bed and she hangs out with me for the second half of my workout.  When the workout is over I shower, get dressed, and have a cup of coffee with my wife before I get to work.  Although this quarantine has its struggles, I am grateful that it allows me to slow down and spend time with the ones I love most....and be able to sleep in a little bit!
