Challenge

I arrived at the residence, which had recently been purchased by the current owner. The owner was concerned with cracked and bowing walls that the building inspector did not see as an issue at the time of the purchase. However, I found inward deflection on one wall of 7/8” and 2 ¼” on the other. We discussed the seriousness of the wall failure with the owner. She was also concerned with the inefficiencies of their current sump system.
