Challenge

The goal was clear - these homeowners are trying to sell. The problem was also clear – in their basement, all four block walls were cracked, bowing, and moving inward. They needed a trustworthy contractor with a warrantied solution to have any chance of selling their home nestled on a lovely country hillside.

I came in and gave an inspection and careful measurements of the walls, which revealed inward wall deflection ranging from 1-2 inches. Even the four-foot high egress stair entrance block was failing.

We have three different ways to permanently stabilize a wall, and their home needed two of them.

Solution

Due to the construction of the home, the Supportworks Power Braces were the best option for the four walls and Carbon Armor for the three short, egress walls.
