A blower switch can be left on, to constantly filter and circulate the air, as an option. When trying to dry an interior space, you never want to leave windows or vents open, or use a fan to blow air in or out. If you blow air out, new unconditioned air from the exterior will replace it, entering from somewhere in the building envelope. This new unconditioned air will need to be heated, cooled and dehumidified to be comfortable, adding substantial "hidden" costs to your heating and cooling bills.
