I needed to have poly-level used to raise the concrete in front of my garage. It has dipped down and slanted towards the garage. There is also some concrete slabs next to the driveway that go towards the well that are broken and unlevel.

We have a finished basement that was constructed by previous owners. The basement has a finished drywall ceiling. They left no access points in ceiling, except for in the storage room area at the very corner of the house. If we crawl up in that room to the ceiling, we can see that there is insulation batting that is falling down, and it is falling down in the areas of the basement that we cannot access. We've been able to prop some back up with a big pole, but it is not sufficient. We did have several pipes freeze last year in the part of the basement that is closed off, and we suspect it is because insulation batting has fallen down. We also have noticed a mouse problem, so there must be entry points that we cannot see because of the closed-off ceiling. We would like to see what it would cost to open up the ceiling, take care of any entry points, insulate it properly with spray insulation and make the ceiling nice again. I think it is worth stating that when we first moved into the house, we found one whole section of the exposed foundation of the house that was covered by a piece of foam insulation. When we moved it, there was nothing behind it---no wood or anything. You could see right into the basement. That was how the house was for 10 years before we moved in. We are curious if there are other parts of our house that are like that, and we just can't see them because the ceiling is closed off.
