We are looking to place an offer on this house, and would like to find out prior to buying it what it would cost to fix the foundation. The floors are uneven. Concrete slates outside on the porches are bowing. It has a partial fieldstone crawl space, and was built in the 1800s. I think it's clear there is a foundation issue happening but I do not know to what extent. My guess would be the house would need to be jacked up and re-leveled somehow. It's an old historic home and we would like to give it new life if possible.
