During inspection, we mapped settlement across the garage slab and located areas of hollow sound beneath the surface, indicating lost soil support. After confirming adequate slab thickness, small ⅜-inch injection holes were drilled in a controlled pattern, and PolyLevel® foam was injected to reestablish uniform bearing.

The expansion lifted the slab gradually to meet adjacent panels and eliminated movement at the wall joint. Once proper elevation was achieved, ports were sealed, and the surface was cleaned for a seamless finish. The project provided immediate improvement in floor alignment and long-term stabilization with minimal disruption—completed in just a few hours.

During inspection, we identified active seepage paths at the cove joint and noted mineral staining where previous leaks had occurred. The installation team removed a narrow strip of the perimeter slab and set the WaterGuard® drainage channel along the footing, designed to capture groundwater before it reached the floor.

A new UltraSump® was installed in a sealed liner and connected to the WaterGuard network for automatic discharge during inflow events. The system’s battery backup provides continued operation during power loss, ensuring year-round protection. With both systems working together, the basement now maintains a consistently dry environment and long-term defense against foundation water pressure.
