We installed DryTrak because of their monolithic foundation which means the floor and footing come as one piece, we had to install a product that rests on the outside of the walls. At a home in Menasha, WI, poured concrete walls had numerous cracks and the walls were pushed in severe enough that that framework of the home was no longer sitting on the top of the foundation walls.

To fix this foundation Sure-Dry used a combination of PowerBrace™ and GeoLock’s to stabilize the walls. Before the walls were stabilized, Sure-Dry fully excavated three of the walls and performed wall straightening procedures. Once, the walls were straightened, they were then braced with PowerBraces™ Foundation Wall Repair System and the GeoLock® Wall Anchor System.

An Aprilaire® dehumidifier and Rim Tight spray foam were also installed to protect against moisture in the basement and insulated the box sills for energy savings.

These homowners in Winneconne were concerned that the water from their sump pump would freeze and then back-up into their basement and called Sure-Dry to see what we had to fix it. We were able to install and IceGuard Discharge Line System to ensure this issue wouldn't happen, even during the coldest winter months.

Sump pump discharge lines are fed outside the home, meaning it's possible they could freeze during the cold winter months. A backed-up discharge line means your sump pump won't work properly in the event of water in your basement, which will make the flooding much worse. Our solution to this problem is the IceGuard® discharge line system.

The IceGuard® fits over the top of your discharge line to provide water with a secondary escape route. When the main line is working correctly, water simply flows out as usual. However, when the discharge line is frozen, the IceGuard® allows water to escape through slotted openings in the drain pipe. This ensures that any water your sump pump is removing from your basement is safely cleared away outside your home, preventing any backed up or frozen lines. The IceGuard® is compatible with all our sump pump systems.

These homeowners had a good, working sump pump but were worried about what would happen if the power ever went out and the pump wasn't able to operate. We were able to upgrade their current system by installing an Ultra Sump Pump with Battery Back-up to assist current sump pump with water volume and provide homeowners with peace of mind if the power ever goes out during a storm. The homeowners were thrilled to have the peace of mind knowing that their basement wouldn't flood.

Of course, in many cases water issues in the basement are caused by severe weather that can knock out power. With that in mind, we created the UltraSump Battery Backup System to ensure continued protection no matter what happens. In the event of loss of power the battery backup will automatically kick in and begin removing water from your basement, preventing a flood. The UltraSump system can pump out in excess of 11,500 gallons of water on a fully charged battery, which is enough water to fill a small swimming pool!

The battery backup also comes with an alarm to alert you in case of power failure, sounding when the backup pump is running and silencing when power is restored. This alarm also protects you in case the main system is accidentally unplugged, which could otherwise leave your basement unprotected. The UltraSump can outlast generic backup pumps many times over, and an additional battery can be attached for further protection.

This basement in Neenah was suffering from water issues in the basement which the homeowners were fed up with dealing with.
